This term at OOSH we have been celebrating Science. We have made, wiggly worms that reacted with water, we have made cloud dough and paper kites. Stay tuned for next week’s “experiments”. There is nothing the children enjoy more than making something messy and noisy.
We have also been celebrating all things olympic. If you happen to find us with the TV on, it’s because we are watching the latest event or a replay of something missed during the day. We have particularly enjoyed skateboarding, BMX bike riding, swimming and diving.
It won’t be long until the school holidays are upon us again. We are always after inspiration from the kids for our program
So far the children have asked for:
A handball incursion Done!
A visit to Sydney Zoo Done!
A Ninja Warrior Day Sorted!
A trip to the City Also Sorted.
Winnie wants a Talent Quest/Come as your favourite music star day.
Mila has asked for an Olympics Day.
We have three more days to fill with activities for your children. We want our program to reflect the interests and ideas from the kids. Please encourage them to write on the big whiteboard or tell one of the staff their ideas no matter how extreme or random. We can always modify it.
On a serious note:-
Would everyone please make sure to check your children in and out when dropping off or picking up.
If someone else is picking up your child, you need to call OOSH on 9918 9672 and let us know. That person needs to speak to one of our staff members who will sign your child out if that person is not on your authorised list. Please DO NOT give your sign in details to anyone else as our attendance roll becomes a legal document if necessary and should be treated as such.
